Some interesting rides and my horse is a MAN-WHORE!

Saturday I had planned to ride in the grass part of the ring. The plan was w/t/c - however the grass was a bit slick. SO I stuck to w/t he was a bit of a turd tracking left as per usual he tried to run up the little hill to the ring. GOOBER. We worked through it however.

Sunday I didn't get out neither did I on Monday.

Tuesday it was killer hot so we just hand walked the trail. Pony didn't bat an eye. Quite interesting because at our previous barn he would flip out on the trail and practically run me down/toss me into a tree. The difference was night and day.

Wednesday I rode him through part of the trail only about 30 minutes because we had an old barn friend coming to stop by and visit. He was still calm as a cucumber. Proud much. Then we walked around the field for a while just enjoying the nice morning.

Thursday was quite an interesting day. They weren't calling for rain until the afternoon. So I headed to the barn early. WELL right once I got on Poncho it started to sprinkle. Which lead to a down pour. It was also super windy, blowing sideways at us. OHMY. We kept on though. W/T/C the canter had one blip when we were passing the barn and the rain hitting the roof got to him. Just a little mini bronc session followed by a run to the middle of the ring followed by just planting his feet. Silly pony. We went around again and got it though.

Friday didn't do anything.

Saturday I didn't get to ride all the horses were put together any ponies temporarily lost their minds. So we just gave them oobers and goobers of attention.

Yesterday we were all planning to ride together. Unfortunately she decided to separate the horses in the morning? Right before we got there. So everyone was a little uppity. Then when we were tacking up things didn't particularly improve. We ended up with one of the moved horses back loose in the field up Midnite's butt. Not the best for her keeping her calm. After managing to get on BO and mom ended up having to get off of their horses from there attitudes. HOWEVER Poncho was so super duper cool. We w/t only because of all the proceedings of the morning. But he was perfect!
